Starry Night Engagement Ring Set in 14K Solid Yellow Gold
This Starry Night engagement ring set crowns a piece of the night sky in warm gold: a pear-cut galaxy sandstone glittering with copper starlight, framed by a cluster halo and paired with a crown tiara contour band โ a two-piece set in solid 14K yellow gold. The warm metal glows against the deep cosmic blue for a celestial, regal silhouette.
The starry-night stone โ honest disclosure
The pear-cut center is blue galaxy sandstone, also called blue goldstone โ a man-made art glass with tiny copper crystals suspended in deep cobalt glass to mimic a starfield. We're upfront that it's man-made, not a natural mined gem; it was created centuries ago specifically to capture the look of the cosmos, and nothing natural quite reproduces that glittering effect. Because sandstone is softer (about 7 Mohs), we offer a free upgrade to a natural blue sapphire center at no additional cost for maximum durability โ just leave a note at checkout.
A two-piece set
Engagement Ring
Pear-cut galaxy sandstone center (6ร8mm, ~1.4ct) with a cluster half-halo of moissanite or natural diamond at the base. Solid 14K yellow gold.
Crown Tiara Band
Arched coronet silhouette with a pear-cut accent at the apex and cluster accents down each side, designed to nest above the engagement ring. Matching solid 14K yellow gold.
Sold as a two-piece set; each ring can also be worn on its own. If you love unconventional bridal styles, our non-traditional engagement ring guide is a great read, with more in our nature-inspired engagement rings and sapphire engagement rings.
The accents
Choose your accent stones from the drop-down menu: moissanite (D color, lab-grown, 9.25 Mohs) or natural conflict-free diamond (G/H, I1, 10 Mohs), ~0.3ctw across both rings. Moissanite is its own gem โ more fire than diamond โ not a diamond or a lab-grown diamond.
Choose your metal
This set is solid gold โ the metal itself, not plating or vermeil over a base metal. Choose your karat from the drop-down; each is real solid gold, and the warm yellow gold sets off the cosmic blue for a regal, celestial look. The color is permanent: it won't wear off and won't turn your skin green.
- 10K yellow gold โ the most affordable and hardest-wearing option, great for everyday durability.
- 14K yellow gold โ our most popular choice, balancing durability, purity, and value.
- 18K yellow gold โ a higher gold content for a richer, warmer tone and more luxurious feel.
