The stones — what's what

For full clarity: the center stone is a lab-grown moissanite, not amethyst. It's an oval ~1.5ct moissanite, D color, VVS1 clarity, 9–9.25 Mohs, with a GRA certificate. The violet color comes from the genuine natural amethyst set into the leaf accents along the vine — real amethyst, February's birthstone. So you get a bright colorless center with natural amethyst accents: we call it an amethyst ring set for the purple you actually see, and we're upfront that the center is moissanite.

Why moissanite for the center

Moissanite is a lab-grown gemstone with even more brilliance and fire than diamond — more rainbow sparkle — at a fraction of the cost, with a sustainable lab origin. Choose your metal: 10K, 14K, 18K white gold, or platinum

This set is solid white metal throughout — the metal itself, not plating or vermeil over a base metal. The cool white tone sets off both the colorless moissanite and the violet amethyst leaves, and the color is permanent: it won't wear off and won't turn your skin green. Pick your metal from the drop-down:

• 10K white gold — the most durable and most affordable option, with the highest alloy content for everyday toughness.
• 14K white gold — our default and the most popular pick: the classic balance of durability and value.
• 18K white gold — the highest gold content for a richer, more luxurious feel.
• Platinum — our premium option: naturally white, denser and heavier, hypoallergenic, and it never needs re-plating (unlike white gold, which can be re-rhodiumed over the years). Its bright white is permanent and won't turn skin green.

Sizing & care

Amethyst is about 7 on the Mohs scale — durable for daily wear, though prolonged direct sunlight over years can gently soften its color, so store it out of strong light when not worn. Clean gently with warm soapy water and a soft brush. Both rings should be ordered in the same size since they're worn together; please reference our sizing guide before ordering.
